RDS EEPROMs...

Bitstream Broadcast can re-program most makes of RDS encoder, and
offers a fast turnaround EEPROM supply and programming service for
TX Techniques TX-FM1 owners.

Please email john.bibby@bitstreambroadcast.com and include the
following information:

Name: Please include your name.
Organisation: Please include the name of your radio station.
Address, Town, City,
Post Code :
Please include a contact address for all administrative
correspondence.
Daytime Phone number: It is important that we have a daytime phone number
on which we can contact you for any questions relating
to your order.
E-mail Address: Please remeber to include your e-mail address. E-mail
is our preferred contact method.
Delivery address: If you are ordering a replacement EEPROM i.c.
and you would like it sent to a different address,
please give the full address, including the post
code.
Frequency: Please inform us of the FM frequency in MHz.
AF Frequency: For larger stations with more than one transmitter, please
list all additional FM frequencies (if applicable) in MHz
PS (RDS Name): Please include your 8 character station name as you
would like it to appear on RDS receiver displays.
RadioTEXT: Please include your 64 character radioTEXT
message as you would like it to appear on RDS receiver
displays (eg. "Music, news and information 24 hours a
day on Hits FM" Can include phone-in numbers, a web
site address, etc). Must be 64 characters or less (to
include all spaces and punctuation).
PI (Hex code): Issued by Ofcom, this is a four digit Hexadecimal code
which identifies your station (eg. C495).
PTY (RDS Program Type): Select the category which will best categorises your
station's main programme content:

- Current Affairs
- Info
- Sport
- Education
- Drama
- Culture
- Science
- Varied
- Pop Music
- Rock Music
- Easy Listening
- Light Classical
- Serious Classical
- Other music
TP (Traffic Program): If your station has an active 'TP flag' then please
tell us this. We will ensure the 'TP flag' is active
in your RDS output. Please note that the Authorities
may take action against any broadcaster abusing this
system.

We will then contact you regarding your order, advising you of the cost, and
seeking confirmation to proceed.
